Educational Open House and Youth Job Fair

As the Fall semester draws to a close and we inch closer to June, you may be thinking ahead to the summer or even to next Fall.  Here are two wonderful opportunities to explore your educational and job opportunities during Regents week, when only students who are taking an exam must attend.

2)       5th Annual Youth Job Fair & Career Expo

Friday, January 26th

10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Shirley A. Chisholm State Office Building

55 Hanson Place, 9th Floor (Between Fort Green Place and South Elliot Place)

Brooklyn, NY 11217

Learn about employment opportunities for youth ages 14-24, including full-time jobs, internships, and apprenticeships.  You MUST have ID to enter the building.

This event is sponsored by Assemblymember Walter T. Mosley, in conjunction with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and St. Joseph’s College.  For more information about this event, please contact Assemblyman Mosely’s District office at 718-596-0100.

Good luck to all students taking a Regents Exam next week!  As a reminder, Monday, January 29th is a Chancellor’s Conference Day, and high school students will NOT ATTEND school on this day.
